Why is the “Aim for a marketing cycle” and the“Simulated aim for a marketing cycle” not the same for Actual and Simulation in the same marketing cycle?

  • Actual and Simulation are two different algorithms and are calculated separately.
  • The same profit goals and other variables of a season’s crop marketing plan are used for the Actual Simulation algorithms. The difference is that Actual takes all the transactions you have actually done and confirmed into account and Simulation takes all the transactions it has automatically confirmed at the end of each marketing cycle into account.
  • The only time when Actual and Simulation will be the same is when you do all the transactions in Actual exactly the same as in Simulation.
  • It is great fun and you can learn a lot by comparing your Actual to the Simulation.
